In 2021, for its 108 th edition, the Tour de France returns to our department with a new stage. On July 7, for the 11th stage between Sorgues and Malaucène

Thanks after a passage «en coup de vent», the Tour returns to linger on the Géant de Provence, which has become a regional natural park, with a double ascent (including the one, almost unheard of, by Sault) and a finish at its feet. Way to welcome the initiative of the Departmental Council of Vaucluse which has rearranged the summit for the benefit of cyclists.
